(Psalms 72:14) He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

David was inspired by the Holy Ghost to pray the prayers in Psalms 72 for Solomon his son; for he was the one to rule after his father. As part of the prayers, he declared that Solomon shall redeem the soul of the poor and helpless from deceit and violence. This compares to you ruling in the absence of Jesus on this earth; for the Word says “For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17).

You have been ordained to reign in the stead of Jesus Christ today (Revelation 1:6). And as a king, one of your primary duties is to destroy deception as seen in our theme scripture. Begin to pray and call for the destruction of deception in your life and that of your loved ones.

Activity: Begin to pray and call for the destruction of deception in your life and that of your loved ones.

Confession: I call for the destruction of deception in my life and that of others today. Deception will have no place in my life from today forward.

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
