Making Power available through Praise

‭‭II Chronicles‬ ‭20:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

[17] You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”

[20] So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” [21] And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.” [22] Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation that you didn't know what to do? Well you are alone. Maybe it is sickness, job loss, family situation, financial difficulty, emotional, mental, material spiritual, and like. But know for certain that our is able, for He is greater than all. The Bible gives us the records of many people who have experienced those moments, and how they came out on top.

One account is that of the people of Judah, a very small group of people who woke up one day, only to be told that three armies were at their gate to destroy them. Overwhelmed, they gathered themselves before the Lord's courts in prayer and fasting. It was at time that the Lord through those who were gathered. And they were assured of victory.

Now when they heard, they perceived what they had to do to activate God's power to work on their behalf. They knew that "the Lord inhabits the praises of his people" (Psalm 22:3). So they began shout loud and high the praises of God. And as they began to sing, God's presence was activated and his power Overwhelmed the enemies.

Today, begin to praise God, for "He has ordained strength in your mouth" (Psalm 8:2), by revelation and faith and declare to the situation the greatness of your God. Don't just say things or sing, but allow the Spirit to inspire the words and you too, will triumph, for the same Lord is rich towards all who call upon his name, for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!
