GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

13/10/2021

BE REAL WITH THE HOLY GHOST

(Psalms 34:4) I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.

A careful study of the book of Job shows that the words “fear and feared” were used nineteen times. For example, Job said in Job 3:25 that the thing he greatly feared has come upon him. He added that what he dreaded has happened to him. This wasn’t pleasant at all. But I noticed that Job never prayed against the undesirable situations he felt he could get into. He wasn’t real with the Holy Ghost from the beginning about his fears. What got him out of this predicament was when he prayed for his friends (Job 42:10).

David, another Bible character, dealt with his fears differently. He prayed about them according to our theme scripture. He was real with the Holy Ghost about issues in his life that can bring him fears from the beginning. When he did, God responded and delivered him from everything he feared in life. Sometimes, be real with the Holy Ghost and talk to him about issues in your life. You will be surprised how He will step into your situation and help you. Halleluyah!

Meditation: (Psalms 34:4) I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.

Activity: Spend time in prayer and fellowship with the Spirit of God. Be real with the Holy Ghost and talk to Him about issues in your life that requires His attention.

Confession: I am real with the Holy Ghost because He is my Father. He delivers me from all troubles. He is my God, my Counsellor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, and Standby. Halleluyah!

If you have never been born again then make the confession below.

I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
