GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

04/09/2021

DON’T DISAPPOINT GOD

(Genesis 6:6) And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

Whenever I read Genesis 6:6, I feel so sorry for God. God got into this state because man decided not to listen to Him but rather to the devil. As a human being, God has given you the ability to choose so He will not force you. But He expects you to know and see His love for you so that you can love Him back. John said we love Him because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).

Refusing to do what He has asked you to do can make Him unhappy about you. So from today, do what He has charged you to do. For example, He has given to us the responsibility of sharing the gospel of Jesus with the rest of the world (Mark 16:15). Will you fully participate in this project? Don’t disappoint God. Let God be proud of you. Finally, to make God proud of you, walk in faith-that is live according to His Word (Hebrews 11:6). Halleluyah!

Meditation: (Hebrews 11:6)But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Activity: Pray fervently in the spirit and declare that you will never disappoint God from today forward. Make a vow in your heart as you pray to God.

Confession: I will never disappoint God for I am an obedient child. I am living for Jesus from today forward. I will never disappoint Him. I am fully participating in God’s project of bringing men to the knowledge of Christ. Jesus lives in me. Halleluyah!

If you have never been born again then make the confession below.

I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
