GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

16/08/2021

DO WHAT HE’S ASKED YOU TO DO

(Matthew 28:19) Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Our theme scripture for today tells us of one of the cardinal things Jesus told us to do -to make disciples of all nations. The word translated nation in our theme scripture means people who don’t know Jesus. The Bible never told us to engage in arguments with such people. What we have to do is to pray for them, love them, and show them kindness.

These would bring them close to us so that we can share the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ with them.

Let’s be focused and do what He has asked us to do. Halleluyah!

Meditation: (Matthew 28:19) Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

Activity: Spend time in prayer today and declare that you are going to do what He's asked you to do.

Confession: I am doing what He has asked me to do. I am passionate about Jesus. I pray for the unsaved. I show them love and kindness. I share Jesus with them not arguments. Halleluyah!

If you have never been born again then make the confession below.

I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
