WAIT UPON THE LORD
(Isaiah 40:31) But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Too many Christians don’t know what it is to wait upon the LORD. God is not a computer that generates quick fixes. There is such a thing as waiting upon the LORD in Christianity. It is work but the results that come with it make it worthwhile. To wait upon the LORD means to spend precious time with the Holy Spirit in worship, prayers, and or through the study and meditation of the Word of God. At such times, carry the expectations of what you want the LORD to do in your life.
For example, before I started going on radio to preach in Japan, I spent a lot of days before the LORD in prayers and fasting. On the first day of our radio program, the Spirit of God gave a Word which got fulfilled in less than one month. When the prophecy got fulfilled, renowned media generals like CNN, BBC, NHK reported what followed. Halleluyah! Wait upon the LORD today to get you on fire one more time. Halleluyah!
Meditation: (Isaiah 40:31) But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Activity: Wait upon the LORD today in worship, prayers, and the study and meditation of the Word. Declare that your strength is renewed as you pray.
Confession: As I wait upon the LORD, my strength is renewed, I mount up with wings like the eagle, run and don’t get weary, and walk without fainting. Halleluyah!
If you have never been born again then make the confession below.
I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.
Congratulations
You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
