JESUS IS THE KING OF KINGS
(Revelation 19:16) And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
From our scripture of meditation for today, we see that Jesus Christ is identified as KING OF KINGS. The key to this is found in Revelation 19:13 (He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God). From John 1:1 we know that Jesus Christ is the Word of God. So it is clear that the KING OF KINGS is Jesus. Halleluyah!
When we say Jesus is the KING OF KINGS, we mean He is sovereign. The word ‘sovereign’ as used here means ‘One who is above all rule or reign’. For this reason, never be afraid of anything Jesus tells you to do for He is above all rule. This is the reason why Paul told us in Romans 5:17 that if by one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. We reign, dominate, control, and rule in life by THE KING OF KINGS. Jesus Christ is THE KING OF KINGS. Halleluyah!
Meditation: (Revelation 19:16) And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Activity: Spend time in prayer today and declare that Jesus Christ is KING OF KINGS.
Confession: Jesus Christ is the KING OF KINGS. He is sovereign. He rules but cannot be ruled. He rules through me. Therefore, I dominate and rule this life by THE KING OF KINGS. Halleluyah!
If you have never been born again then make the confession below.
I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.
Congratulations
You can begin to attract God’s
goodness into your life from today.
