THE FEAR OF THE LORD
(Job 28:28) And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’
When the Bible talks of the ‘the fear of the LORD’, the interest is in having respect for God and the things of God. It is a blessing to have respect for God and the things of God. The fear of the LORD makes you perfect. In the writings of the Prophet Isaiah, we see it as the seventh manifestation of the Spirit of God (Isaiah 11:2). If you have the Holy Spirit in you, it should not be difficult to have fear towards God. The fear of the LORD makes it easy to obey and humble yourself. It allows the Word of God to control your life making you a wonder to the world. Decide that you will walk in the fear of the LORD from today forward. It will save you from trouble. Halleluyah!
Meditation: (Job 28:28) And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’
Activity: Spend time in prayer and fellowship with the Holy Ghost today. Ask him to activate the fear of the LORD in you from today forward.
Confession: The fear of the LORD manifests in me. Due to this, it is not difficult for me to do the Word of God. I have become wise. The fear of the LORD is activated in me. I cannot sin. Halleluyah!
