GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

BY PASTOR BERNARD EFA

NOVEMBER 09, 2022

THINK ON THESE

(Philippians 4:8) “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

It is interesting to know that the word “finally” was used six times in the Bible; five times by Apostle Paul and one time by Apostle Peter. Paul in his writings communicated some extremely important thoughts through the use of the word “finally” and today’s theme Scripture is no exception. The Holy Ghost, writing through Apostle Paul is letting us know that there is a way we must think. And there are things we must give our attention to. We are expected to pay attention to and think on things that are just, pure, lovely, and of good report. If you make this simple act your lifestyle satan would not be able to put thoughts in you like he did to Judas. Also, he won’t be able to talk through you.

From the Amplified Classic Version, this Scripture is rendered as “For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].” Stay in prayer and declare that from today, you will give attention to things that are just, pure, lovely, and of good report only. Hallelujah!

Confession: I give attention to things that are just, pure, lovely, and of good report by the power of the Holy Ghost. Satan cannot push his thoughts through me, and he cannot talk through me as well. I am a holy vessel for the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
