GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

21/06/2022

GOD IS ALWAYS AHEAD OF SATAN

(1 Corinthians 2:8) Which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Our God is an expert in making the devil look foolish always. According to our theme scripture, God had a secret He kept about the death of Jesus which was unknown to Satan. The devil thought when Jesus was killed that would be His end. To ensure that his plan comes to pass, he made them put a seal on the big stone which covered the grave of Jesus. In addition, soldiers were made to guard the grave of Jesus to prevent Him from resurrecting on the third day (Matthew 27:62-28:15).

What the devil didn’t know was that the resurrection of Jesus would take place by the power of the Holy Ghost (Romans 8:11). The power of the Holy Ghost cannot be restricted for it operates within the confines of God’s wisdom. In the end, Jesus resurrected. This proved that God is always ahead of Satan.

Never be afraid of household witches and wizards, evil men, and evil spirits that hinder the progress of God’s children for your God is always ahead of them. He will show you the way in the desert. He will open up the red sea for you. The walls of Jericho will fall for your sake. The waters in Jordan will dry up for your sake. Charge in prayer and declare that your God is always ahead of Satan and so are you. Halleluyah!

Confession: My God is always ahead of Satan for His deeds are done by the power of the Holy Ghost. Being a child of God, I am also ahead of Satan in everything, so I am not afraid of anything. I see the way in the desert. The red sea dries up for me. The walls of Jericho falls for my sake, and Jordan dries up for my sake. Halleluyah!

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
