GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

19/06/2022

WHAT TO DO DURING PERILOUS TIMES

(2 Timothy 3:1) But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come

The Bible has shown that we should not be surprised at how the world is going for we are in perilous times. Perilous times mean difficult times, dangerous times, hard times, a time of pain and sorrow, and unsafe times. Listen to the news and you will hear of floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, new infections, rise in fuel cost, global shortage of food, one nation rising against another nation, and others. This means we are not in normal times. At such a time what are we supposed to do?

In a time like this, we need more of God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship with the Spirit of God. That is what counts for the Spirit of God is the One who has assured us that when we pass through the waters, He will be with us, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow us, when we walk through the fire, we shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch us (Isaiah 43:2). Amazing!

Focus on God and His Word and fellowship with the Holy Ghost so that you can have an excellent life even in perilous times. Start praying now! Halleluyah!

Confession: I am aware of the times I find myself in, so I focus on God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship with the Holy Ghost. When I pass through the waters, He will be with me, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow me, when I walk through the fire, I shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch me. Halleluyah!

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
