GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

09/05/2022

CAN GOD SAY THIS ABOUT YOU?

(Genesis 18:19) For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”

The Bible shows that God is interested in boasting about us. He boasted about the obedience of Job to Him (Job 1:8). Similarly, He boasted about Abraham in our theme scripture. He desires to boast about you today. But for this to happen, it will require a character derived from the Word of God.

Look at what He said about Abraham. He said, “For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.” The scripture said, Abraham will command his children in the way God wants. In order words, he will teach them to follow God’s instructions. It adds that that way they will do righteous deeds so that what God has told them would come to pass.

Can God say this about you? Can God boast about you? If that is not the case start making changes from today. Spend time in prayer and ask the Lord to grant you the ability to command your house, family, and all those under you to follow Jesus so that they can see the manifestation of God’s Word in their lives. Halleluyah!

Confession: I shall command my house, children, and all those I have authority over to follow the Word of God. I pass on the culture of the Word to all those connected to me. I am helped by the Spirit of God to achieve this. Halleluyah!

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
