(Proverbs 12:18) There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health.

Our theme scripture for today says the words of some people pierce like the sword. This means such words bring pain, sadness, and can make you lose your confidence and health. In a sharp contrast, the writer added that “but the tongue of the wise promotes health”. The word translated health in this scripture means “medicine”. This means there is healing in the tongue of the wise.

In Christ you have been made wise for it is the Spirit of Jesus that makes us wise. In Isaiah 11:2 we are told that one of the manifestations of the Spirit of God (the Holy Ghost) is the Spirit of the fear of the Lord. Since you have the Holy Ghost in you, you are bound to give reverence to the Lord. No wonder Job declared that “ the fear of God is wisdom” (Job 28:28). If you respect God, you are wise. And being wise, there is health and medicine in your tongue. Today spend quality time and talk health to every part of your body. Talk health to any part of your life that looks sick or needs healing. Halleluyah!

Confession: I speak health to my bones, blood, eyes, hair, skin, and all other parts of my body. No germ or disease-causing agent can live in me for my body is the address of the Holy Ghost. I direct health into my relationships, businesses, projects, and ministry. It is well with me. I am advancing on all fronts. Halleluyah!

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
