GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

15/04/2022

THE RELEVANCE OF HIS DEATH PART 1

(Galatians 3:13) Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)

Today marks the day when Christians all over the world remember the death of Jesus. His death was for our benefit. We are told in our theme scripture that “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)”. This means Jesus Christ satisfied all the claims of justice to set you free from all the oppression of the devil.

You are free from all curses. When man sinned in the Garden of Eden, God cursed the earth because of man and said, thorns and thistles shall come out of the earth (Genesis 3:18–19). This is why Jesus wore a crown of thorns whilst on the cross. We are told in Matthew 27:29-31 that “When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” Then they spat on Him, and took the reed and struck Him on the head. And when they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him away to be crucified.” He went through all this shame for you so that you can have a glorious life. Resist any form of suffering the devil might want to put on you for it is illegal. Spend time in prayer today and declare that you are free from all curses. Halleluyah!

Confession: Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, having become a curse for me (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree). Jesus Christ became a curse for me so that I can become a blessing. From today, I am walking in blessings and abundance. Halleluyah!

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
