SPEAK IN TONGUES
(1 Corinthians 14:2) For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
Speaking in tongues is one area that has brought differences amongst Christians. However, I feel it should not at all. Let’s delve deep into our theme scripture and see what the Spirit of God wants to communicate. It begins by saying, “for he that speaks”, meaning tongues are spoken. You can speak it when praying, singing, or making any utterance out of your mouth to God.
The word translated tongue in 1 Corinthians 14:2, means a language acquired unnaturally. Hence it is acquired spiritually through the power of the Holy Ghost. In truth, this language is in your spirit now. You got it the day you made Jesus Christ your Lord. However, to make the best of it, you have to make time and speak it every day. It is a blessing to the body of Christ. Use it to your advantage. Halleluyah!
Meditation: (1 Corinthians 14:2) For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
Activity: Spend time in prayer today. Try and speak in tongues throughout the day. If you cannot speak in tongues but wish to, then believe this prayer. I command utterance to be given to you right now by the power of the Holy Ghost and in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Start speaking in tongues now!
Confession: I enjoy the beautiful language of the spirit. I am refreshed as I speak in tongues today and always.
If you have never been born again, then make the confession below:
I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.
Congratulations: You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
