GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

18/12/2021

LIFE IN HIS WORD

(John 6:68-69) But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Prior to Peter saying what he said in our theme verses, there was huge confusion in the ministry of Jesus and almost all His followers left Him. Then He asked those remaining if they will also leave Him. Then Peter answered and said, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Another way of saying “You have the words of eternal life” is by saying “there is life in your Word”. So, anytime, you think, confess, or proclaim the words of Jesus, you are magnifying His life in you. You are saying, "there is life in Your Word".

And as you do it will begin to produce tangible results. This life in His Word produces light and whenever the light shines in the darkness (evil situation), the darkness cannot withstand it (John 1:5). Fill your heart with the words of Jesus for there is life in His Word. Halleluyah!

Activity: Spend time in prayer and fellowship with the Spirit of God. Declare in prayer that there is life in His Word.

Confession: The words of Jesus are the words of life. I shall serve Jesus Christ all the days of my life. Due to my unqualified committal in Him, He proves Himself to me every day. There is life in His Word and this life produces light and this light drives out all forms of darkness from before me. Halleluyah!

I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
